The fish bit well enough for Joe Holland to secure his sixth place finish in a State Bass Fishing tournament held on Damariscotta Lake this weekend.
The highest Lincoln County finisher Holland, of Jefferson, qualified for a regional fishing tournament to be held in Connecticut in 2010.
One hundred forty competitors shared 70 boats during the two day event.
