More than 4000 homes lost power for about two hours in the morning on Nov. 9.
Customers in Waldoboro, Bremen, Jefferson, Nobleboro, Friendship, Cushing and Warren lost power around 8 a.m.; it was restored around 10 a.m., Central Maine Power said.
CMP Spokeswoman Gail Rice said a downed line on Rt. 32 in Waldoboro caused the outage. “Mechanical failure” caused the downed line, Rice said.
