The first major winter storm of the season delivered a punch on Thursday, but Lincoln County just shook it off.
A number of local establishments closed for the day, school was already out, and light traffic on the roads indicated people were staying safe at home.
So, a few minor traffic accidents, scattered power outages, and some 8 to 12 inches of snowfall were the only effects the storm left in its wake as it tracked out to sea Thursday night, according to reports.
Lincoln County residents will have clear weather to shovel out on Friday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
