Schools and many businesses were closed on Monday as the latest snowstorm to visit Lincoln County pummeled the area with high winds and heavy snowfall. Temps in the single digits and sustained winds of 10 to 20 mph out of the north combined to bring on wind chills in the sub zero range. Snowfall, heavy at times, is forecast to continue into the evening hours, according to the National Weather Service.
