A serious traffic collision on Rt. 1 in Nobleboro has resulted in injuries to one or more of the individuals involved, according to Lt. Rand Maker, of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident site is the Nobleboro Town Office/Vannah Road and Rt. 1.
At this time details of the accident remain unavailable as investigators and responders are still on the scene. As of 11:30 a.m., north and southbound traffic on Rt. 1 is expected to be significantly affected for at least the next hour or so, and motorists are advised to plan accordingly, Maker said.
