Northeast Security Systems, of Wiscasset, is pleased to announce the hiring of Nicholas Labbe as the general manager and vice president of sales.
In his new role, Labbe will be responsible for annual sales and marketing budgets, new business opportunities, tracking and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing efforts, as well as the daily management and overall growth of the company.

Labbe holds a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from the University of Maine at Farmington, a master’s in business administration from Thomas College in Waterville, and has extensive experience in management roles.
Most recently, Labbe was the deputy director of the public works department for the City of Auburn.
There, Labbe was directly responsible for the city operations, infrastructure and public safety, managed 55 office and field personnel and was responsible for a $5 million dollar operating budget.
While with the public works department, he increased services and reduced costs applying private business practices to public sector operations and implemented various ways to raise the level of customer service within the department.
