The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Lincoln County and other areas in Maine. The Watch is in regard to a weather front presently tracking across the state on a southeasterly course. The NWS forecast calls for the possibility of thunderstorms to arrive in the afternoon. The Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 7 p.m. Tuesday night.
