The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory in advance of a blustery storm forecast to bring snow, sleet and freezing rain to Lincoln County beginning in the early morning hours of Tuesday.
Snowfall is forecast to accumulate in the 3 to 5 inch range with additional ice accretion of one-tenth of an inch. All precipitation is presently forecast to change over to rain on Wednesday morning, according to the NWS.
The winter weather advisory begins at 6 a.m. on Tuesday and continues until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, according to the NWS.
