The National Weather Service has issued a Freezing Rain Advisory for the early morning hours of Saturday.
Precipitation forecast to begin after midnight will meet very cold ground temperatures, causing ice to form on roadways and surfaces, the NWS bulletin warns.
The Freezing Rain Advisory is in effect from midnight to 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Temps should climb steadily during the day on Saturday, and additional precipitation will arrive as rainfall, according to forecasters.
