The National Weather Service has issued what most Lincoln County residents hope will be the last Winter Storm Watch of the season. This NWS advisory is in regard to a weather system forecast to visit the area beginning Monday night and continuing through Tuesday.
The NWS advises that “snow accumulations of 6 inches or more” are possible from this storm, which is forecast to bring snowfall overnight on Monday with the possibility of mixed precipitation during the daylight hours on Tuesday.
Winds are forecast to be a bit gusty, blowing easterly at 5 to 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph, according to the NWS.
