At 10:04 p.m. Thursday night the National Weather Service issued a Special Weather Statement advising that strong thunderstorms may affect the Lincoln County area through 11 p.m.
The NWS warns of high winds, torrential rainfall, the possibility of hail and cloud to ground lighting during these storms.
Radar images monitored at intellicast.com indicated that strong storm systems approaching the area would break up into sections of heavy rainfall affecting Lincoln County during the overnight hours.
