The only criminal summons issued during the two-day Wings Over Wiscasset event was issued to a Wiscasset man for allegedly assaulting a male juvenile.
According to Wiscasset Police Chief Troy Cline while volunteering during the event, Bryan Buck, 61, of Wiscasset and a 14-year-old juvenile got into an argument about 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 9.
Buck allegedly knocked a baseball cap of the boy’s head and struck the tip of his nose in the process.
No injuries were reported with the incident. Buck was issued a criminal summons for assault and was asked to leave the area, Cline said.
“The event went very smoothly overall and this is the only incident in the two years Wings Over Wiscasset has taken place,” Cline said.

The police report states Welch left the road and struck a sign post, became airborne and scraped a pine tree before hitting a second pine tree head-on and coming to a rest. The reports states the roadway shows no signs of braking or swerving.
On August 7 an accident occurred on Hodge Street involving Emmy Cayabyab, 41, of Southport and Donnalee Bolduc, 73, of Woolwich.
Bolduc, operating a 2006 Mazda backed up and hit Cayabyab’s 2010 red Toyota Corolla, which was legally parked in a parking space.
