Central Maine Power (CMP) reported that 138 households along the Washington Rd. corridor in Waldoboro suffered power outages Sunday afternoon.
The outages were first reported at approximately 2:15 p.m., as Waldoboro residents baked under sunny skies and 79-degree temperatures. All locations had power returned by 3:35 p.m., according to CMP.
The cause for the outage was a tree on the wires, according to a CMP employee at the dispatch center.
