Women in the Damariscotta area seeking one-of-a-kind baby clothes now have one more place to shop. As of November, intimates store Patricia’s Closet began carrying baby onesies, lap-tees, and toddler tees designed exclusively for the website Sisters4.com.
“We were looking for something to offer alongside our maternity bras,” Darcy Fraser, one of Patricia’s owners, said.
“We wanted something cute and affordable moms could buy for their babies, and narrowed it down to a few specific brands. We ended up going with Sisters4. We liked what they had to offer, and thought their designs would really appeal to our customers.”
Sister4.com, a parenting reference website, carries an exclusive line of high-quality original infant and toddler clothing created by a designer known as Jeaniefly.
The clothing, made with 100 percent cotton, is designed especially for the site, and ranges in price from $12 – $15 online.
Patricia’s Closet will be matching those prices in-store, and is the first to offer sales of the clothing line.
“Sisters4 has been great about developing a sales program with us,” Rebecca Akeley, the store’s co-owner said. “We’re going to have first access when future designs come out.”
