The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Waldoboro Police Department arrested three people on Finntown Road in Waldoboro on Friday, Feb. 17, including two residents of Brooklyn, N.Y. on charges of crack cocaine and cocaine possession.
Curtis Goodson, 37, of Brooklyn, faces a class C charge of possession of crack cocaine, a felony, according to a press release from the Waldoboro Police Department. Goodson also had an outstanding warrant out of New York for a drug-related parole violation.
Nicole Cooper, 39, of Brooklyn, faces a charge of class D possession of cocaine, a misdemeanor.
Alexiee McPhee, 24, of Waldoboro, faces a charge of violation of condition of release. She was free on bail in connection with a Suboxone-trafficking case in Lincoln County.
All three were transported to Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset, where they remained as of the evening of Tuesday, Feb. 21.
The arrests are part of an ongoing drug investigation.
Law enforcement seized crack cocaine, cocaine, and “items used in the sale and use of illegal drugs,” according to the press release.
