A Somerset County Corrections prisoner transport van went off the road and through a snowbank in Jefferson Feb. 2, but no one was injured and the van had no reportable damage, according to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Lt. Rand Maker.
The van was on its way to the Maine State Prison in Warren with prisoners on board went it went off the southbound side of Route 32 in Jefferson, Maker said.
LCSO Deputy Kevin Dennison responded, but did not take down the operator’s information because it was not a reportable accident, according to Maker.
