Renys, the department store chain born and still thriving in the twin villages, will open a Topsham location, its 16th store, in mid-August.
According to published reports, the store will occupy a 32,000 square foot space vacated by Village Candle. It will employ 40-50 people.
The Topsham opening will follow the April opening of a store in Portland, Maine’s largest city.
