The number of households in Lincoln County with storm related power outages has doubled in the past several hours, with 652 homes now affected, according to Central Maine Power. The majority of the outages are still in the Boothbay Harbor area, according to CMP.
While snowfall and high winds are forecast to taper off as the day progresses, a Blizzard Warning remains in effect until 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
