Rosemary K. Bradbury, 78, of Waldoboro, passed away on April 2 at LincolnHealth in Damariscotta. She was born June 10, 1937 in Boston, Mass., daughter of James F. Shaughnessy and Laura Stevens Drew.
Rosemary attended local schools and graduated from Barnstable High School.
Rosemary was a devoted advocate for all types of animals. She fostered as well as adopted many dogs, cats and birds. Her love of animals was a huge part of her life.
She was predeceased by brother, Kenneth C. Shaughnessy; and grandson, Kenneth James Bradbury IV.
Rosemary is survived by her loving partner of 35 years, Ralph E. Rozell of Waldoboro; former husband, Kenneth J. Bradbury Jr. of Hyannis, Mass.; daughters, Kathryn Larsen of Hyannis, Mass., and Erin L. Bradbury of Mashpee, Mass.; sons, Kenneth J. Bradbury III of Hyannis, and Stephen S. Bradbury of Dennis, Mass.; grandsons, Samual A. Knott of Westborough, Mass., and Thomas J. Rogers of Boulder, Col.; granddaughters, Amy L. Ricker of Wakefield, Mass., and Shaughnessy F. Rogers of Mashpee, Mass.; sisters, Laurel F. Smith of Friendship, Catherine M. Murphy of Sandwich, Mass., and MaryEllen Challies of Sandwich, Mass.; brother, Matthew J. Shaughnessy of Yarmouthport, Mass.; and great-grandsons, James E. Ricker of Wakefield, Mass., and Daniel H. Ricker of Wakefield, Mass.
