Route One in Wiscasset will be closed for approximately one hour, Mon., July 4, due to the celebration of the nation’s birthday.
The Wiscasset Fourth of July parade begins at 11 a.m. and travels from the intersection of Rt. 27 and Hooper Street along Rt. 1 to the waterfront. Travelers are encouraged to leave early or take alternate routes.
