The Sheepscot Valley Regional School Union (RSU 12) will host a public meeting on Wed., March 10 to discuss the possible transfer of Somerville middle school students to Windsor during the 2010-2011 school year.
According to a press release provided by the office of RSU 12 Supt. Greg Potter, the transfer plan is designed to increase educational, co-curricular and social opportunities for students in grades 6-8.
The meeting will be held at The Somerville School on Patrick Town Road at 7 pm. Also on the agenda is a new special education proposal for Somerville K-6 students.
RSU 12 Superintendent Greg Potter will present the two plans, followed by a question and answer session for parents and community members.
