The much anticipated return of S. Fernald’s Country Store will be celebrated Thurs., April 1 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at its new location, 50 Main St. in Damariscotta.
A full day of live music, hot coffee, food samples, penny candy, and more await friends old and new, as Fernald’s opens its doors to the public in Damariscotta for the first time in 10 years.
Join founder Sumner Richards and crew for this all day party to warm up the new space, relax and enjoy the atmosphere of what is sure to become, once again, the social hub of downtown Damariscotta.
Interested musicians of all ages are invited to drop by to join in the open acoustic jam sessions with featured musicians throughout the day. Fernald’s is an old fashioned country store offering original deli sandwiches, soups, hot breakfast and baked goods, a real soda fountain, ice cream, penny candy, old fashioned toys, Moxie memorabilia, plenty of odds and ends, and an emphasis on local goods, community and local music.
