A Seasonal Flu and H1N1 Information Night will be held on Thurs., Oct. 8, from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Great Salt Bay School in Damariscotta. AOS 93 parents and anyone with questions and concerns regarding the current flu season are welcome to attend.
Panel Presenters include: Dr. Andy Russ, Lincoln Medical Partners Pediatrics; Dr. Steve Feder, Lincoln Medical Partners Pediatrics; Linda Cosgrove, Bristol School Nurse; Sunny Kirkham, Great Salt Bay School Nurse; and Michelle York, AOS 93 School Health Coordinator.
Presenters will discuss current Maine CDC recommendations (also found at www.maineflu.gov), plans for school based vaccination clinics, and strategies on how to keep your family healthy. They will also answer questions and concerns regarding the current flu season and how schools are preparing.
Hosted by the Parent/Teacher Organizations in AOS 93, this meeting is free and open to the public. Refreshments and childcare will be provided. Pre-registration is not required.
