Phil and Nancy Shanholtzer, of Jefferson, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Shanholtzer, of Jefferson, to Randy Picard of Vassalboro. Randy is the son of Bob and Rhonda Picard, of Vassalboro.
Ashley is a 2004 graduate of Erskine Academy in South China. She is currently finishing her studies in the nursing program at the University of Maine, Fort Kent.
Randy is a 2004 graduate of Winslow High School in Winslow. He is currently finishing his studies in the plumbing and heating program at Southern Maine Community College.
A fall 2009 wedding is being planned.
