An accident occurred around 12:45 p.m. April 24, Easter Sunday, in the area of 61/64 Townhouse Rd., Whitefield.
The witnesses described a silver four-door Honda Accord, late 1990-2000, leave the roadway and strike a CMP support pole. The vehicle was operated by a male driver and he had a female passenger with him.
The vehicle made contact along the driver’s side back door, quarter panel and rear taillight assembly. The vehicle then accelerated away leaving a plastic wheel well cover to the rear wheel of the vehicle at the scene.
The vehicle was last seen speeding down the Townhouse Road heading towards Rt. 218 and Alna.
