South Bristol’s sand and salt shed has collapsed. The collapse was discovered Friday morning, Feb. 13. The shed is on Old Barn Road in Walpole.
A plow truck escaped the collapse unharmed, while a loader remains inside the collapsed structure.
South Bristol Selectman Chester Rice said the plow truck was moved from the shed and the town has access to the sand and salt. “We should be all set for the next storm,” he said.
