South Bristol voters elected town officials Monday, March 13, but the open portion of town meeting was postponed until Thursday, March 16.
The meeting was originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 14, but was moved due to the impending storm.
The election took place as scheduled. Selectman Chester Rice was re-elected for a seventh consecutive three-year term. Write-in candidate Donald Edwards was elected to the South Bristol School Committee. Edwards replaces Clay Gilbert, who did not run for re-election.
The town meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the South Bristol School gym.
