According to Trisha Robinson of Prock Marine, the Southport Bridge will closed to overnight traffic Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 from 9:30 p.m to 5:30 a.m.
Prock Marine began maintenance to the bridge earlier this month. Traffic has already been reduced to one-lane, which will continue until Nov. 8, said Ted Talbot of the Maine Department of Transportation.
Talbot, said Sept. 26 he has notification the bridge will also be closed Oct. 9 and Oct. 24 from 9:30 p.m to 6:30 a.m.
