A special meeting of the Jefferson Village School Board will convene in at the school July 1 at 11:30 a.m. The sole agenda item is the formal acceptance of the lowest bid for the construction of the new Jefferson school facility.
Low bidder Bowman Construction of Newport submitted an $11,072,500 proposal for the contract.
Work on the new school facility is expected to start in July.
