Sea Pine, Inc., previously doing business as Spruce Point Inn, announces its Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing of April 19, 2010 was successfully concluded by an order entered on Dec. 28, by the United States Bankruptcy Court/District of Maine.
Sea Pine, Inc., has paid all its creditors and has sold its assets to Spruce Point Capital, LLC, which will own and operate the Inn. Extensive upgrades to the rooms, function facilities, and grounds are planned for the 2011 season. Joe Paolillo and Angelo DiGuilian, innkeepers, will continue management of the inn.
