Sarah Pendleton, of Bristol, and Scott Sutter Jr., of Boothbay, were married Aug. 16, at the home of Ron and Jeri Pendleton, the bride’s grandparents. The service was officiated by Sue Varney, a long-time family friend of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Scott and Wendy Pendleton.
The groom is the son of Janet Spinney and Scott Sutter.
The ceremony was held on the dock at Ron and Jeri’s home. The bride arrived by boat with her mother and father. The bride and groom were surrounded by 75 of their closest family and friends. The maid of honor was the bride’s cousin, Kylie Pendleton. Bridesmaid was the bride’s sister-in-law, Ashley Pendleton, and the flower/ring girl was the bride’s cousin Natalie Bisset.
The best man was the groom’s friend, Jason Warlick, and groomsman was Robbie Ham.
A reception followed the ceremony in the back yard of the bride’s grandparent’s home where guest were treated to a lobster bake. More family and friends joined the party later in the evening for dancing and cake. The delicious cake was made by The Cupboard Cafe, the bride’s first employer. Fireworks and dancing wrapped up the beautiful evening.
The couple is living in Bristol with hopes of a honeymoon in the spring to Alaska.
