Gerald and Angela Achorn are proud to announce the opening of The Kidz Closet, located on Rt. 1 in Nobleboro (97A U.S. Highway One).
The Kidz Closet is a children’s resale shop offering new and used children’s items and accessories such as clothing (from size newborn to junior for both boys and girls), books, toys, infant swings, high chairs, portable cribs, and more.
The Kidz Closet does not accept items for consignment; instead they will purchase any gently used items for cash.
“The idea is to offer people a fair cash price for their items on the spot so they do not have to wait for their items to sell before they get paid,” said Angela Achorn. “This will allow us to keep our prices reasonable and offer a mix of quality merchandise.”
The Kidz Closet also plans on offering many new items – most still with tags, at discounted retail prices.
The Kidz Closet is open Wed.-Sat., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sun., 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and closed Mon.-Tues. These hours are subject to change.
The Achorns are from Nobleboro and have four children: Kyley, Austin, Alex and Gavin. Prior to opening The Kidz Closet, Angela operated Playtime Pals Daycare for seven years from her Nobleboro home. Gerald, is a self-employed firewood dealer and recently expanded his business to include property maintenance and yard work.
The Kidz Closet officially opened July 13, however the grand opening is Sat., July 23, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a bounce house for the kids, food and even Sponge Bob. Come check them out rain or shine.
