Officer Charlie McCue, of Wiscasset, was named the Maine Sheriffs Association’s Corrections Officer of the Year at the association’s banquet in Biddeford on Thursday, March 15.
McCue has over 30 years in corrections, most serving the communities of Lincoln and Sagadahoc counties. He has been with Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset since its opening in 2006 and currently works as a programs officer.
Every year, submissions from all counties are submitted to the Maine Sheriffs Association and one officer is selected to receive this honor.
