Snow should begin to spread over Lincoln County in the morning hours of Wednesday then continue through the day, leaving 6 to 10 inches of accumulation before moving out in the evening hours, according to the National Weather Service.
A Winter Storm Warning issued by the NWS goes into effect at 7 a.m. and continues through 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
Temps ranging in the upper 20’s to the lower 30’s during the event should keep precipitation in the form of snow, according to the NWS. Winds out of the northeast at 10 to 15 mph should not be a major factor during the storm, according to forecasts.
Coastal areas of Lincoln County should see more snowfall than inland areas, according to the NWS.
