Area firefighters battled a structure fire in Round Pond March 11.
The house, north of the intersection of Coates Road and Rt. 32 in Round Pond village, belongs to Richard “Rick” Wahle and Carol Lariviere.
Firefighters from at least six towns – Bremen, Bristol, Damariscotta, Newcastle, South Bristol and Waldoboro, responded to the scene around 11:30 a.m. The Damariscotta Police Dept. and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office provided traffic support.
