As of 10:43 a.m., 2,753 Lincoln County customers remain without electricity after a powerful rainstorm moved through the area during the overnight hours, according to a report from Central Maine Power.
As of 10:28 a.m. Lincoln and Somerset counties (1005) account for the bulk of 4803 power outages reported statewide.
According to the same source, as of 9:43 a.m. the highest number of Lincoln County outages, 1,121 were reported in Damariscotta; 786 CMP customers remain without power in Jefferson, 180 in Edgecomb and 144 in Bremen.
Lincoln County remains under a flood advisory until 11:45 p.m. (on Wednesday), according to the National Weather Service.
According to the NWS, the forecast calls for clearing this afternoon allowing for a partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies.
