Medomak Vally High School dismissed school early Monday due to water problems at the school. The Sports Awards Night, scheduled for March 4, has been postponed.
Regional School Unit/School Administrative District 40 Superintendent Susan Pratt said an early release was called for Medomak Valley High School at 10:30 a.m., March 4 after the school’s water system failed.
“We believe it’s a submersible pump,” Pratt said. She said the deep-water pump was being examined for repair and that she expected school to be open the following morning, as usual.
The sports awards will be rescheduled for next week on a date to be determined.
