An 86-year-old Somerville woman died when a fire swept through her home Saturday evening, according to the Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office.
The body of Pauline Danley, of 152 Frye Rd. in Somerville, was found in her bedroom, which is also where the fire started, according to Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office.
The cause of the blaze has yet to be determined.
Firefighters from Somerville, Windsor, Whitefield, Washington and Jefferson responded to a 7:55 p.m. report of a fully involved structure fire.
According to a reporter for The Lincoln County News on scene, the flames appeared to have been extinguished as of 10 p.m.
