Readers of LincolnCountyNewsOnline.com and The Lincoln County News E-Edition will see some improvements and additions beginning Weds., Jan. 30, according to Greg Latimer, the Special Projects Coordinator for Lincoln County Publishing Co.
“These improvements are part of the continued effort that began 138 years ago when the News published its first edition,” Latimer said. “Our purpose has always been, and always will be, to bring our readers relevant content about our community in the most efficient way possible.”
The improvements to LincolnCountyNewsOnline.com will be subtle, while those to The Lincoln County News E-Edition will be quite striking, making the electronic version of The Lincoln County News much easier to navigate and read. Both of the online publications will now be much more convenient for readers using online and mobile devices to read their local news.
LincolnCountyNewsOnline.com is The Lincoln County News website, openly available to the public. The Lincoln County News E-Edition, an exact copy of the print edition, is available online to subscribers. Subscriptions are no additional charge for subscribers of The Lincoln County News print edition. E-Edition only subscriptions are also available.
Readers should watch for additional improvements in both the LincolnCountyNewsOnline.com and The Lincoln County News E-Edition to follow shortly, Latimer said. Those improvements will include operational as well as programming enhancements.

Subscribers to The Lincoln County News E-Edition will enjoy additional enhancements to accessibility and the capability to search past editions of the newspaper.”
The upgrade is provided by 1up! Software of Kokomo, Ind. The Lincoln County News has partnered with 1up! Software regarding LincolnCountyNewsOnline.com and The Lincoln County News E-Edition since 2008.
