Emergency crews in Waldoboro are scrambling to keep up with downed trees and wires from today’s Nor’easter.
As of 10:45 a.m., the Waldoboro Fire Dept. received eight calls of downed trees and power lines with only eight firefighters on duty.
Fire crews are focused on getting barriers up while CMP shuts down power at the downed lines.
A CMP crewmember said, “we’re scraping by at the moment.” Tomorrow when the sun comes out it’ll go a lot faster.
