Waldoboro voters passed all budgets by referendum at annual town meeting June 10, and elected Jann Minzy and Clint Collamore to the Waldoboro Board of Selectmen.
In total, Waldoboro’s municipal budget for the 2014-2015 fiscal year was approved at $3,858,603, an increase of $148,601 or 4 percent over the current year.
The approved total budget will require $1,860,104 in property taxes to fund it, a $149,696 or 8.75 percent increase over last year. The amount is $24,136 under the town’s property tax levy limit.
In elections, voters elected newcomer Jann Minzy, 442 votes, and former selectman Clint Collamore, 354 votes, in a five-way race for two three-year seats on the select board.
Minzy and Collamore beat out former selectman Bob Butler, 327 votes, incumbent Craig Cooley, 310 votes, and newcomer Fred Dever, 83 votes.
