The Waldoboro Police report the following activities from the previous week:
July 29, Officer Michel Dutil investigated an accident on the Friendship Rd. at 8:55 a.m. Pheobe Boyington, 38, of Waldoboro, who was driving a 1995 Dodge van and Ronald Pease, 72 of Gorham, who was driving a 2003 Honda, four door sedan, were both traveling north on Friendship St. Pease stopped at a stop sign at intersection of Main St. and Friendship St. and was struck in a rear end fashion by Boyington. Neither party was injured. The Honda sustained $200 damage. Boyington’s van was not damaged.
July 30, Officer Michel Dutil investigated an accident at the Hannaford parking lot at 11:55 a.m. Jean Burnham, 54, of Waldoboro, who was driving a 1998 Dodge, four door sedan, returned to her vehicle to find it had been hit on the passenger side fender and door. The second unit involved departed the scene. There was red paint on the fender. Burnham’s Dodge sustained $600 damage.
Aug. 1, Thomas Hoepner investigated an accident on Main St. at 10:59 a.m. Shannon Cochrane, 33, of Waldoboro, was traveling east on Jefferson St while operating a 1999 Oldsmobile, two door sedan. Kevin Genthner, 52, of Warren, was traveling west on Friendship Rd while driving a 1993 GMC pickup truck. After stopping, Cochran signaled and attempted a left hand turn in front of Genthner’s GMC striking Genthner’s vehicle. Cochran’s Oldsmobile sustained $1500 damage. Genthner’s truck sustained $1000 damage.

July 29, Officer Thomas Bartunek is investigating a report of criminal mischief to a screen on a porch $50 damage.
July 30, Officer Michel Dutil is investigating a reported theft of a roadrunner sculpture.

Aug. 1, Officer Thomas Hoepner is investigating a report from Sol’s Towing of damage done to his lawn at the Atlantic Highway business.
Aug. 1, Officer Thomas Hoepner is investigating a report from Hannaford Supermarket that someone broke a lock on two cages that hold propane tanks and stole 16 propane tanks.
Aug. 1, Officer Thomas Hoepner is investigating a report of harassment.
Aug. 2, Officer Thomas Hoepner is investigating a report of threatening.
Aug. 2, Officer Thomas Hoepner is investigating a report from the Big Apple of a $26.73 gas drive off.
