The Waldoboro Police report the following activities from the previous week:
Aug. 24, As she was entering a parking space in the Hannaford’s parking lot, Mary Stabb, 78, of Jefferson struck an unoccupied 2007 Nissan four door sedan, formerly operated by Marjorie Flood, 76, of Friendship. The accident resulted in $1900 damage to the Nissan and $300 damage to Stabb’s 2005 Buick, four door sedan. There were no injuries. Officer Sean Kozer investigated.
Aug. 30, When entering Main Street off Jefferson Street, Holly Beaupre, 26, of Warren, failed to yield the right of way to James Tynan, 16, of Waldoboro and struck Tynan’s 1998 Jeep, SUV in the driver’s front side causing $1000 damage. Beaupre’s 2010 Ford, four door sedan sustained $2500 damage. There were no injuries. Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated
Sept. 2, Nancy Genthner, 75 of Waldoboro exited the Atlantic Highway into a parking lot around 8:43 a.m. just as Barbara Kane, 80, of Waldoboro, exited a parking space. Kane was attempting to go around the building when both vehicles ran into each other. Both Damage to Genthner’s 2006 Chrysler van, was estimated at $3000 damage. Damage to Kane’s 2010 Toyota, four door sedan was estimated at $2500 There were no injuries. Officer Sean Kozer investigated.
