The Waldoboro Police report the following activities from the previous week:
Sept. 29, Officer Sean Kozer investigated an accident on the Atlantic Highway at 3:19 p.m. Nancy Fullington, 58, of Tenants Harbor, was driving a 1996 Toyota, 4 door sedan, resulting in $2000 damage. Roger Orff, 65 of Waldoboro, was driving a 2008 Toyota, pickup truck, resulting in $700 damage. Fullington was in line of traffic on the Atlantic Highway (northbound lane). Orff was waiting to turn left (south) onto the Atlantic Highway from a parking lot. Fullington stated she left a gap for Orff and motioned to the operator to proceed. Fullington stated she did not think Orff was going to go, so she continued. Orff stated he saw Fullington motion for him to go. He stated he looked to his right to check for southbound traffic and accelerated, expecting Fullington to still be stopped. Fullington and Orff struck each other.
Oct. 2, Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated an accident on the Atlantic Highway at 12:49 p.m. H. Louise Berstone, 63, of Isle Au Haut, who was driving a 1998 Nissan, 4 door sedan, resulting in $4000 damage. Robert Sykes, 37, of Waldoboro, who was driving a 2001 Chevrolet, pickup truck, resulting in $500 damage. Berstone struck Sykes when Sykes was making a left turn into the Big Apple parking lot. There were no injuries.
Sept. 30, Officer Jeremy Joslyn arrested Maitlin Williams, 28, of Damariscotta, for a violation of conditional release.
Oct. 2, Officer Jeffery Fuller summonsed Adam Saunders, 28, of Waldoboro, for operating under the influence.
Oct. 2, Officer Michel Dutil and Sergeant Jamie Wilson arrested Gregory Mcrae, 34, of Waldoboro, for domestic violence assault, obstructing report of crime, and criminal mischief.
Oct. 1, Officer Sean Kozer investigated a report of two unwanted males at a residence. The subjects were found and warned on trespass.
Oct. 2, Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report from the Waldoboro Laundry Matt that someone broke into a washer or dryer.
Oct. 2, Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report of a stolen kayak.
Oct. 4, Waldoboro Police are investigating three reports of damaged mailboxes.
Oct. 4, Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report that someone broke into a residence and stole some cash and medication.
