The Waldoboro Police report the following activities from the previous week:

Arrests/SummonsesSept. 9, Officer Thomas Bartunek arrested Kevin Woodward, 41, of Whitefield, on a warrant.

Sept. 7, Officer Bartunek summonsed Casey Collins, 27, of Thomaston, for operating after suspension or revocation.

Sept. 9, Officer Jeremy Joslyn arrested Justin Ott, 20, of Warren on a warrant.

Sept. 9, Chief William Labombarde arrested Nathaniel Bagley, 32, of Waldoboro on a violation of conditional release.

AccidentsSept. 9, at 8:48 a.m., Mary Guptill, 63, of Nobleboro and Stephen Waters, 64, of Greenwich, Conn., were both traveling north on the Friendship Road. Guptill, operating a 1998 GMC school bus, activated her stoplights and came to a stop, with Waters stopped behind her. Guptill then backed into Waters’ 2006 Lexus at a very slow speed. Waters said he honked his horn as the bus was backing up. Guptill said she did not hear the horn until it was too late. Officer Sean Kozer investigated.

Sept. 9, In the parking lot of Borealis Bread James Amaral, 44, of Alna, was backing a 2007 Volkswagen out of a parking space and struck a parked 2006 Subaru station wagon, last operated by Gary Thorpe, 57, of Waldoboro, at 12:19 p.m. Chief Labombarde investigated.

ComplaintsSept. 6, Officer Kozer is investigating a report of criminal mischief to two motor vehicles in a dooryard.

Sept. 10, Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report from Wink’s Auto of the theft of a donation jar from their counter.

Sept. 10, Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report of the possible theft of seven bundles of tongue and groove flooring.
