July 26, Officer Thomas Hoepner is investigating a report from Waltz’s Pharmacy of the theft of a pregnancy test.
July 27, Officer Sean Kozer investigated a report from the Big Apple of a $37.27 gas drive off. Subject found and returned to pay.
July 25, Officer William Bragg summonsed Jeremy Johnson Jr., 18, of South China for harvesting clams without a town license.
July 25, Officer William Bragg summonsed a 13-year-old male for harvesting clams without a town license.
July 25, Officer Sean Kozer investigated a report from Melissa Black that she is receiving harassing text messages. The subject was found and warned on harassment.
July 28, Officer Thomas Bartunek summonsed Cheryl Weeks, 56, of Jefferson, for an inspection violation.
July 28, Officer Thomas Bartunek summonsed Thomas Hoffman, 50, of Waldoboro, for an inspection violation.
July 28, Officer Thomas Bartunek summonsed Michael Griffin, 24, of Augusta, for an inspection violation.
July 28, Sergeant Jamie Wilson investigated an accident on the Atlantic Highway at 6:37 p.m. involving Paul Casteleiro, 66, of Nyack, N.Y., who was driving a 2004 Volvo, sedan and Ashley Costa-Whittaker, 25, of Readfield, was driving a 1997 Nissan pickup. Costa-Whittaker was traveling northbound on the Atlantic Highway, slowed behind several other vehicles for a car in the northbound lane that was making a left turn. Casteleiro was traveling northbound behind Costa-Whittaker. Casteleiro did not see Costa-Whittaker slowing in time and ran into the back of Costa-Whittaker.
July 29, Officer Jeremy Joslyn investigated an accident on the Friendship Road at 9:29 p.m. involving Robyn Campbell, 51, of Waldoboro, who was driving a 2000 Toyota passenger car. Campbell was driving south on the Friendship Road, got distracted by things inside the vehicle, left the roadway and hit a telephone pole. No injuries.
