On Dec. 4, Officer Larry Hesseltine is investigating a report from the Big Apple of a $29 gasoline drive off.
On Dec. 9, Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report of the theft from a motor vehicle.
Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report of the theft of a diesel starter and two batteries.
Dec. 3, Chief William Labombarde arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile on a warrant.
Dec. 3, Officer John Lash arrested Deidre Albert, 41, of Waldoboro, for domestic violence assault.
Dec. 3, Officer Larry Hesseltine summoned Kimberly Small, 31, of Alna, for negotiating a worthless instrument. On Dec. 3, Officer Larry Hesseltine arrested Matthew Kinney, 37, of Chelsea, for operating after suspension, false plates and violation of conditional release, two counts.
Officer Larry Hesseltine summoned Robert Whitney, 37, of Damariscotta, for operating after suspension, uninspected motor vehicle and failure to show proof of insurance.
On Dec. 4, Officer Larry Hesseltine summoned Jadah Fowler, 20, of Auburn, for failure to show proof of insurance.
Chief William Labombarde arrested Philip Cohen, 47, of Waldoboro, for a violation of conditional release.
On Dec. 7, Officer Larry Hesseltine arrested Joshua Ross, 29, of Washington for operating under the influence.
Sergeant Jamie Wilson summoned Christopher Kenney, 37, of Sabatus for criminal trespass.
On Dec. 8, Officer John Lash summoned Michelle Smith, 33, of Portland, for operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
Nov. 26, Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated an accident on the Friendship Road. Debra Delano, 51, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2000 Jeep. No injuries. Delano was traveling south on Friendship Road when a deer crossed in the roadway in front of Delano, who struck the deer.
On Nov. 26, Officer Larry Hesseltine investigated an accident on the Manktown Road at 7:20 a.m. Jose Jimenez, 53, of Waldoboro, was driving a 1996 Ford truck. No injuries. Jimenez was traveling north on the Manktown Road and was slowing due to traffic in front of him. Jimenez lost control and slid sideways off the road, striking a utility pole and breaking it off.
On Nov. 26, Officer Larry Hesseltine investigated an accident on the Atlantic Highway at 8:10 a.m. Daniel Heino, 59, of Boothbay Harbor, was driving a 2003 Ford pickup truck. No injuries. Heino was traveling east when he lost control due to weather conditions. Heino left the road on the left side, hitting a utility pole and rolling over onto its side. No damage to the pole.
On Dec. 4, Officer Larry Hesseltine investigated an accident on the Old Augusta Road at 6:45 a.m. involving Dakota Young, 17, of Waldoboro, driving a 1995 Ford pickup truck. Gary Wellman, 52, of Waldoboro, owned a parked 1994 Saturn sedan. Young was traveling east on the Old Augusta Road and lost control due to weather conditions. She left the road on the right side, hitting a wooden post, small tree and Wellman’s vehicle, which was parked unattended in the driveway. No injuries.
On Dec. 5, Officer Larry Hesseltine investigated an accident on the Feyler’s Corner Road at 6:30 a.m. involving Curt Vernesoni, 35, of Waldoboro, driving at 2006 Ford pickup truck. Vernesoni was traveling south on the Washington Road when a deer ran out into the road. He hit the deer on the front passenger side. No injuries.
On Dec. 6, Sergeant Jamie Wilson investigated an accident on the Atlantic Highway at 4:37 p.m., involving Linda Hoffman, 62, of Boothbay Harbor, driving a 2007 Kia sedan. Don Bowden, 53, of Waldoboro, was driving a 1998 Dodge pickup truck. Hoffman did complain of pain and was taken by Waldoboro EMS. Bowden was traveling southbound on the Atlantic Highway and stopped in the southbound lane of travel to make a left turn onto Old Route 1. Hoffman was traveling the same direction behind Bowden. Hoffman did not see that Bowden had stopped and ran into the rear of Bowden’s vehicle.
On Dec. 6, Sergeant Jamie Wilson investigated an accident on the Atlantic Highway at 4:42 p.m., involving Hannah Collins, 23, of Nobleboro, driving a 2008 Chevrolet sedan and Kimberly Emerson, 30, of Newcastle, driving a 2004 GMC Utility Vehicle. Emerson complained of pain and was taken by Waldoboro EMS. Emerson was traveling northbound on the Atlantic Highway and slowed in traffic as it was passing through a traffic accident scene. Collins was traveling in the same direction directly behind Emerson, and Collins did not notice Emerson slowing in time and ran into the rear of Emerson.
