A Waldoboro woman was arrested for allegedly trafficking cocaine after law enforcement executed a search warrant on her Castner Road home Oct. 1, according to a Maine Drug Enforcement Agency press release.
Regina Bowman, 43, is facing a class B felony charge of unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs after agents allegedly seized 17 gram bags of cocaine from her home, according to the release. The street value of the cocaine was estimated to be about $1,700.
Agents also allegedly seized $3,000 cash, scales, cutting agents for the cocaine, and packaging material, according to the release.
The warrant to search Bowman’s residence was obtained after a several-month-long investigation into the sale of cocaine in the Waldoboro and Rockland area.
The MDEA, Waldoboro Police Department, and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office executed the warrant. The Waldoboro and Rockland police departments, LCSO, and Maine State Police all assisted in the investigation, according to the release.
Following her arrest Bowman was taken to Two Bridges Regional Jail, where personnel said she was released on unsecured bail the morning of Oct. 2.
