Lincoln County residents should wake up to snowfall Friday morning… Snowfall that is forecast to intensify by mid-morning and then taper off in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Snowfall rates during the morning hours may reach over 1 inch per hour, according to the NWS.
Snowfall accumulation is forecast in the range of 5 to 10 inches, but the NWS warns of “locally higher (snowfall) amounts on the midcoast”.
A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, according to the NWS.
