The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Weather Advisory in regard to a storm forecast to drop into Lincoln County beginning Wednesday evening and hang around until Thursday morning, leaving some snow behind.
The Winter Weather Advisory replaces a Winter Storm Watch Issued earlier, and indicates that the NWS is downgrading the forecast impact of the coming storm.
The NWS is calling for 3-6 inches of snowfall along the coastline with lesser amounts inland.
The Winter Weather Advisory is effect from 8 p.m. Wednesday evening to 11 a.m. Thursday morning.

The Lincoln County News website will continue to follow the progress of this event and post any additional information here as soon it it becomes available.
